Strengths:
- Very easy to use when you need a one off mind map quickly
- Suits different learning styles. Information is typed in a very linear order (Suits sequential learners) and at the click of a button turns into something very visual (Suits visual learners and active learners).
- Have some control over visual elements but not so much that you get carried away and lose focus
- You can't save your concept map and come back and make edits to it
- If your project is going to be ongoing then it's best to use bubbl.us
- Students are able to give feedback on their experience with Text2Mindmap. This provides another reflective tool and encourages analysis and evaluation. Gets students thinking about how they would improve such a tool
- If you accidently hit the wrong button your work is completely gone
- because there is no way to login to this site, students have no ties (engagement) with the site and may not come back and use it again. It could be a one off visit
